Water Fight

James and Nicholas came up for the weekend and the weather was really hot so the kids thought a water fight was a great idea.

Updated pics of the apple tree

I am so thrilled that my apple tree is actually producing fruit. Some of the fruit has fallen of and some I culled but considering the tree has only been planted for two years I think it is going very well.
These little tree's are called Sunset nectarines. They are dwarf varieties and will only grow to be around 60cm tall and 60cm wide.
The raspberry bush has finally decided it should produce berries. It hasn't been getting enough water so the berries are not very good, but at least it is something. We finally got some good rain and have some water in both tanks and the garden got a much needed drenching.

Garden Pics

These are some Arabica Coffee plants. I thought I might give it a go growing them, we saw a fully grown plant a while ago and they are very nice looking plants so even if we never harvest the coffee beans (which I am told is a slow process from tree to a cup of coffee) they should make a nice hedge.
I think I had my camera on the wrong setting because all my photos are blurring. Thses are some of the young blueberry bushes I have been growing out in pots. They seem to be doing very well, though I killed the first lot. In the middle is the Moringa tree that I grew from seed. I am trying to get some more of the seeds to germinate, so far only 1 out of every three seeds seems to growing, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but will keep trying.

This is the Minack theatre in Cornwell. Kate loved it. She was very excited to see a seal swimming around in the water while the performance was on.

UK

This is still on the way to Glastonbury.
The apple tree out the window where they stayed in a B & B.
A beach with flags to swim between. Kate didn't think the beach was very inviting for a swim.

Kate says that this is typical weather. This was taken from their car while they were on their road trip.

Paris

This is the catacombs under Paris. I think this was Kates favourite thing she saw in Paris. She thought all the skulls and bones staked up were really cool.
