Crackenback Resort
We all really liked going for walks in the evening, or at night with torches. We saw plenty of wombat holes but no wombats this year. We did get to smell them though.
I can't actually remember which one we stayed in and none of the kids are here to tell me but it was either the second or third building from the right and we were in the upstairs unit on the right hand side.
I think that Kate, her friend Lauren, Sam and Will must have all been affected by the crisp air and being on holidays, they spent a lot of time wresteling and running around.

Charlottes Pass
There was quite a lot of snow still on the ground, though it rained the next day so a lot of it turned to ice or melted.
Will the nut job, thought it wasn't cold enough to wear a jumper. It was surprisingly warm though there was no way I was going to wear a t-shirt.
The snow fight was heaps of fun. There were no teams, every person for themselves. Raymond managed to accidently (not that we really believe him when he says this) dump Will into an icy puddle. Luckily Will was a good sport and despite turning red from the cold he wasn't fazed at all, and managed to put a huge snowball down my pants, unfortunatly he managed to include gravel with the snow and it was a long walk back to the car.
Sam sneaking up on Lauren. He is like the stealth bomber. He kept casually walking up and putting it down our pants or tops.

Chair Lift
Neen
I love going on the chair lifts, but Raymond and Kate tend to find the experience terrifying. Raymond assures me that he will never go on one again. But that is what he told me last year and he still got on it again this year. Apparently he was to scared to scream, or breath on the way down, he says he saw little black dots infront of his eyes, which I think was due to lack of oxygen from the no breathing thing.
Sam and I love the view and the quiet.Kate and Raymond coming in for their landing after they made it safely to the top.
Snowy River
It was such a lovely day that we all wanted to stop and enjoy the scenery, and play in the snow.
Sam is so sneaky with those snow balls.

Bobsled
Everyone thought the sleds were heaps of fun. Though Kate and Helena managed to fall of after they took a corner to fast.
Raymond loved it. He nearly managed to collect Lauren because he was going much faster than her. The sleds have a break so you can control the speed.

Sam's 12th Birthday
Sam's birthday was the morning we were leaving Crackenback so everyone was finding it difficult to get up and get moving after being on holidays for a week where we slept in nearly every morning.
That looks suspiciously like a knife in my hand there....

Camping June 2009
The boys are so keen to go swimming they dont seem to care that it is close to 1 degree.
Craig brings out the machete and the kids are all drawn in like flies.
Craigs friend Chris is just as interested as all the kids.
